Due to COVID-19 <strong>it will be held in a virtual environment on May 14th<\/strong> from 10:00 to 15:30 CET. The project outputs will be presented to an international audience. The event is designed as an interactive experience. Rather than focusing on one-directional input and results, the session intends to foster an active exchange on issues of diversity management and inclusion in higher education between participants.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>EnhanceIDM was set up to enhance diversity competences of programme leaders at higher education institutions to make study programmes more inclusive.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the project-life-span,\u00a0several measures were developed and implemented at four universities in Europe:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A comprehensive <a href=\"http:\/\/enhanceidm.eu\/wordpress\/output\/blended-learning-training-on-idm-for-programme-leaders\/\">blended-learning training programme<\/a> for academic middle management concentrating on inclusive practice over the whole student life cycle.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/enhanceidm.eu\/wordpress\/output\/multi-media-resources-on-idm-scenarios-in-higher-education\/\">Multi-media resources on inclusion and diversity management scenarios in higher education<\/a>, dealing, for example, with situations like violence on campus, language barriers and prejudice based on implicit bias.<\/li>\n<li>A freely accessible\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/enhanceidm.eu\/wordpress\/output\/idm-toolbox\/\">IDM-Toolbox<\/a> providing practical methods and tools on inclusion and diversity management in higher education.<\/li>\n<li>An <a href=\"http:\/\/enhanceidm.eu\/wordpress\/output\/online-self-assessment\/\">online self-assessment<\/a> measuring one\u2019s own awareness, general attitudes and competences\/skills in dealing with student diversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nA sneak preview into the conference programme:<\/strong> facts &amp; figures about programme leader\u2019s attitudes and needs towards diversity management, the best out of blended-learning training programme and toolbox, multi-media resources uncovering implicit biases, etc.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][lab_button title=&#8221;Download Programme&#8221; type=&#8221;standard&#8221; button_bg=&#8221;custom&#8221; link=&#8221;url:http%3A%2F%2Fenhanceidm.eu%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F05%2FEnhanceIDM_Closing-Conference_Programme.pdf||target:%20_blank|&#8221; button_bg_custom=&#8221;#009b8e&#8221; button_txt_custom=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; button_txt_hover_custom=&#8221;#d3d3d3&#8243;][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span lang=\"EN-GB\">If you are interested in participating or in sharing your experiences or insights with IDM-practice in higher education, please contact us at: <a>silke.preymann@fh-ooe.at<\/a><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our final event is approaching.
