Web-based trainings (WbTs) are a useful tool to see what harm diversity insensitive staff can cause. Consequently, programme leaders become most interested in sensitising their administrative as well as their teaching staff for the importance of diversity management and inclusion in their study programme. In watching these videos staff will recognise the potential and added value of diversity management. WbTs are a valuable standalone training material. Our WbTs should help programme leaders to enhance the teaching quality and support structures for their respective degree programme as their staff becomes more attentive to diversity-sensitive issues.
These scenarios aim at critical self-reflection for both, academic and administrative staff as they are confronted with a bad and inefficient way of dealing with a diversity-sensitive topic and a contrasting good practice example. This should help staff to recognise and break with habits and attitudes that impedes inclusion.
